Treat yourself to the underrated

Hi guys,

It has been weeks since my last post and I could dish out a million reasons why, but I won’t.

Diving into something light, I’ve been thinking about some products that are long-lasting, affordable, and gender neutral.

I am a firm believer that we do not need to look a certain way in order to feel good about ourselves. I have, however, learned that some ‘rituals’ should be prioritised equally to brushing your teeth in the morning.

  1. Nuxe Honey Lip Balm – M&S – £10 (link) – This balm is a keeper. It has a matte finish (no gloss), a long-lasting formula that suits well for all seasons, and it heals any chaps instantly. It also leaves no aftertaste. The pot packaging makes it appear high quality, but with the ease of a handy on-the-go chapstick.
  2. Fenjal Classic Luxury Creme Bath Wash – Superdrug – £4.19 (link) – This scent is so therapeutic. Jojoba oil is very moisturising but does not have an overpowering perfume. I use a tiny bit in the shower, as it foams up very nicely.
  3. Mixa Restoring Body Lotion – Superdrug – £6.49 (link) – No scent, ultimate moisture repair and no grease or residue. My biggest reason for not lotioning is because I hate it getting on my clothing, sheets, or greasing up my hair. I also despise lotions that require too much effort to rub in. The packaging is simple – a little product goes a long way – and my hands feel smooth and sticky-free after applying.
  4. Moroccan Oil (25ml) – Amazon – £13.45 (link) – Yes, it is a lot of money for a tiny bottle but it lasts FOREVER. Out of all the argan oils I have bought to substitute, I always go back to this treatment. I hold my finger tip over the opening, flip the bottle, and the tiny amount that is there covers my long hair for the day. Men are using argan oil for help with razor burn, dandruff, beard oil, and even to help with acne or scarring. Would highly recommend having a mini one of these for any of your skin/hair needs.

So there you have it. Simple but if you’re seeking out some simple trustworthy products, these are my go-to’s.

Feel free to tag any of your posts if you also enjoy sharing product reviews and hauls. 🙂
